Welcome to my Liberty Basic site.
All software available here has been developed using Liberty Basic v1.4.  This amazing product allows for rapid development of Windows and OS/2 programs.  If you have ever programmed anything in BASIC, you will be able to produce Windows programs immediately.  Even if you have never programmed before, but would like to give it a go, this is the place to start.
Liberty Basic is available as shareware and can be obtained from:
Liberty BASIC, extrememly easy programming for Windows and OS/2
If you are visiting this site to get an idea about Liberty Basic before downloading - check out my:
"What's so special about Liberty Basic"
for my reasons for using this product.

Brosco goes Commercial!
Well not really - but I have produced one DLL that has been so much BS&T (Blood, Sweat and Tears) - plus it will have even more ongoing development - the time involved just doesn't allow me to give it away - sorry about that!
Oh - I forgot to mention what the product is!
Its a complete gaming engine allowing you to incorporate animated sprites into any program with just a few lines of code.  A complex arcade game with many sprites can be written in a fraction of the time using this DLL.
As usual, this DLL requires Win3.11 or better.

Users of 486 PCs - I promise you that I'm still actively working to get my DBdll working in your environment.  As a long sufferring 486SX owner I still have my sympathies in this area.  In fact the developers of the compiler have promised to get back back to me by Tuesday.  If I dont get any joy from them - I will rebuild my 486 to get the problem sorted out.

I have just written a DLL that will allow you to index your RANDOM files for superfast access.  The DLL was writen specifically for LB users - so you shouldn't have any problems with it.  Since I envisage writing more DLLs in the future I have started a new page for this one, lonely entry.

As you can see I am moving from Crosswinds because of the poor performance at that site - but I'm keeping my options open - they do offer UNLIMITED space for FREE!
In the process of the move I am reorganising my contributions, updating them and adding a few things I haven't posted before.  I will be doing this one page at at time, so my older stuff is still available at Crosswinds

Alyce and I will be publishing a FREE Newsletter every few weeks with tips, tricks, comment, etc.  If you would like to subscribe - refer to the bottom of this page for details.
